Robert (Rob) Cantrall

Hi, I’m Rob Cantrall.

I have worked in the technology industry for over 20 years, in various roles as a Technical Program Manager, Product Manager, Technical Solution Manager, and most recently as a Director of Technical Program Management at Microsoft.

I’m passionate about working effectively and efficiently, finding ways to empower my team and partners to do their best, most creative work in an atmosphere of trust. Cross-group collaboration is a strength, as are communication and project management. I thrive when we just get stuff done with a group of people for whom there is mutual like and respect.

Until recently, I coached youth competitive soccer. As the head coach for a competitive girls soccer team, I led a group of young women to find the best possible version of themselves. We did this using soccer as a vehicle for personal development, learning the impact of hard work, teamwork and collaboration, resilience, and grit. Along the way, we won some games, managed through losses, and learned many valuable lessons. It is an honor and privilege that I cherish to have worked with these young women and their families.

In times past, I have been a beekeeper and an award-winning winemaker. I’m on the lookout for my next project in 2026!
